1. What is the "Visa Online Shopping Spree"?
Every time you use your Visa card online at participating merchants during August 2001, you could win a $50,000 Visa card or one of 250 $100 Visa cards. Winners can use these cards to go on a shopping spree anywhere Visa is accepted - at approximately 21 million locations worldwide.
2. Who may participate?
The "Visa Online Shopping Spree" is offered only in the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia, and is open only to legal U.S. residents, eighteen (18) years of age and older as of August 1, 2001. See Official Rules for complete details.
3. When is the promotional period?
The "Visa Online Shopping Spree" begins at 12:01 A.M. Pacific Time (PT) August 1, 2001, and ends August 31, 2001, at 11:59 P.M. PT.
4. What are the prizes?
A total of 251 prizes will be awarded. One (1) Grand Prize of a Visa stored-value card worth $50,000. Two hundred fifty (250) First Prizes of a Visa stored-value card worth $100. All prizes will be awarded. See Official Rules for details and odds of winning.
5. How do I enter automatically?
It's easy. Use your Visa card to make a purchase online at any of the participating merchants during August 2001.
6. Do I have to make a purchase in order to enter the "Visa Online Shopping Spree"?
No. While you will be entered automatically every time you use your Visa card online at participating merchants during August 2001, you may also enter without purchase or obligation. Hand-print your name, street address, city, state, zip, day and evening phone numbers, and the words "Visa Online Shopping Spree" on a 3" x 5" card, and mail in a stamped #10 envelope to: "Visa Online Shopping Spree," P.O. Box 4008, Grand Rapids, MN 55730-4008. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by August 31, 2001, and received by September 10, 2001. Enter as often as you wish; however, only one entry per stamped envelope will be accepted. No mechanical reproductions permitted. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
7. How will I know if I win?
Winners will be notified by phone and certified mail.
